Early reading. We have captured 1 original post for this account, below the 8 we require before treating a median as settled. The numbers above describe what we have seen so far, not a finished profile of the account.

A typical post picks up 1.5K interactions against 181K followers, an engagement rate of 0.832%. Posts are seen about 152K times each, and 0.983% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 84.1% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.1 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 10% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Wednesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 1 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 2.9K interactions, about 2.0x its own typical post. Only 1 original post have been captured so far, fewer than the 8 posts we want behind a median before treating it as settled. Read the figures above as an early measurement of this account, not as a finished profile of it.

Posting timing

This account posts most often around 16:00 UTC, and Wednesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 0% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 259 characters, which falls in the 180 - 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts of 180 to 280 characters match the same accounts' other posts almost exactly.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

A lot of questions around why I decided to take a backseat from trading and why not earlier. Comes down to a combination of the following - 1) family wanted me to take on an active role in running the business because the older generation wants to take a back seat. I would have pushed this transition for longer if I saw some great opportunity/future on the trading side, but I really didn't 2) I started to see less of a future/opportunity for growth in my style of trading, the VRP is harder to harvest given the number of people competing for the same premise and operational risks of congestion/liquidity death just felt like they were going up week on week. yes I could trade like a retired person at low leverage and a balance with longer TF book in combination with smaller exposure to 0dte, but there is no future if I constantly find myself feeling anxiety to scale exposure In my company we do an annual turnover of 150+, growing at 20% a year with no anxiety because there is no single point of concentrated risk, where as in trading even at a cap of 10, i started to feel a crazy amount of anxiety 3) Anxiety of infrastructure and a lack of control over brokers and exchange, unlike other businesses, completely at their mercy - in any bad event, there will be no chance of getting them to be accountable. Their busness has scaled much faster than their tech can handle and everyday expiry means hyper congestion in single instruments, and hence the associated risks One has to remember that all this money is tax paid. Tomorrow if some freak event takes a big chunk away, government isn't going to pay back šŸ˜… 4) when the screen time of 10,000+ hours is giving me an Intuition that the environment isn't good for 0dte, I would perfer to go out at the top of my equity curve rather than wait for some disaster and lose 20-30%, because the psychological hit from an event like that will hurt my mentality more than the monetary damage. I take pride in what my trading has done for me and have 0 intentions of going against my gut and damage that sense of achievement, or give back a single penny. Yes I'm in a lucky to have good opportunities available to me to do something else when trading isnt looking attractive, and if not for that would just have cut leverage /exposure and figured things out that way And yes many would be happy to do 20-25% on a fixed cap which isnt going to scale, but for me personally, that wasn't going to justify giving my full time and attention, given that there are better opportunities available elsewhere. Please note - just because this is how I feel doesn't mean it holds true for everyone, everyomes goals and situation will be different Just wrote things as they came to me, will probably do a space over some weekend for a more detailed take 😁

Dunki - movie was so-so average types, but introduced me to the whole donkey process which I wasn't aware of Watched some news reports about this after the movie and Q - Apparently people spend upwards of 1cr to illegally migrate to UK/US while risking their lives, taking up jobs of cleaners and barbers etc My question is, if you had 1 cr to pay, bank interest alone per year would have been 7lakh, should be able to afford a decent life in T3 city/ village na? Seems like a classic case of "status and image" thing where people are doing dumb things to impress others šŸ˜…
