Bharat Petroleum engagement report
@BPCLimited - 475K followers on X
Measured over 25 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 28, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 21 interactions against 475K followers, an engagement rate of 0.004%. Measured over 25 original posts, its engagement rate beats 21% of 3,862 tracked accounts of a similar size. That is a reason to look at how the audience behaves - reply depth, saves, whether the followers are recent - rather than a conclusion about it on its own. Posts are seen about 2.6K times each, and 0.797% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.554% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.9 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 27% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 10:00 UTC, and Sunday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 25 posts sampled, 96% carry an image or video and 16% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 343 interactions, about 16x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #bpcl, #e20facts, #bharatpetroleum.

Compared with accounts its own size
Bharat Petroleum's engagement rate beats 21% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,862 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 44% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.004%, Bharat Petroleum sits above the 10th percentile of the 37,459 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.012%.

India's ethanol is primarily produced from surplus grains and maize. Modern ethanol plants use minimal water and recycle it efficiently, making production increasingly resource-conscious. Highlights from BPCL’s 73rd Annual General Meeting held today in Mumbai Shri Sanjay Khanna, Chairman and Managing Director (C&MD), presented BPCL’s exceptional performance in FY 2025-26 to our valued shareholders. He highlighted that BPCL’s strategy is anchored in balancing energy security, affordability and sustainability, nurturing and strengthening its core businesses in refining, marketing and upstream, while making bold investments in future growth engines such as petrochemicals, natural gas, alternative green energy, non-fuel solutions and digital businesses. Shri V.R.K. Gupta, Director (Finance), Shri Subhankar Sen, Director (Marketing), Shri Pushp Kumar Nayar, Director (HR), and Smt. V. Kala, Company Secretary, were also a part of the AGM. Shri Sanjay Khanna Chairman & Managing Director, BPCL said that there is no proposal to replace the existing E20 blended Petrol with E10, on Thursday after BPCL’s AGM. His response is being misquoted to suggest as if E10 is being considered as an option, which is not correct. Large-scale field experience from millions of vehicles operating on E20 fuel for more than last 3 years, has not shown any evidence of engine damage or any other concerns. E20 contributes to reducing pollution, creating rural prosperity and saving foreign exchange. BPCL continues to support the National ethanol blending programme and remains committed to ensuring fuel quality. @HardeepSPuri @PetroleumMin @Secretary_MoPNG #Atmanirbhar

Safety First. Safety Must. Prepared to act, trained to react. A joint state-level mock drill with BPCL and NDMA put emergency readiness to the test at BPCL Budge Budge. All response teams came together in sync, with firefighting, rescue, medical and traffic support coordinated alongside NDRF, Indian Red Cross Society, RTO, local police and other agencies. With the simulated fire extinguished, no leakage or LEL detected, and restoration underway, the exercise put coordinated preparedness into action; keeping us ready for what matters most. #SafetyFirst #SafetyMust #EmergencyPreparedness #MockDrill #BPCL @HardeepSPuri @PetroleumMin @Secretary_MoPNG

- What is Bharat Petroleum's engagement rate on X?
- Bharat Petroleum (@BPCLimited) has an engagement rate of 0.004%, based on the median interactions across 25 original posts from the last 30 days against 475,472 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.004%, Bharat Petroleum sits above the 10th percentile of the 37,459 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @BPCLimited have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 21% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,862 accounts), which puts it in the bottom quarter for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @BPCLimited post?
- Most posts go out around 10:00 UTC, and Sunday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.9 posts per day across the measured window.
