أدين وأستنكر القصف الذي تعرض له عدد من مقرات هيئة الحشد الشعبي في عدة محافظات، والذي أسفر عن استشهاد وإصابة العشرات من المنتسبين، وأطالب الجهات الحكومية والأمنية المختصة بمتابعة هذا الاعتداء، واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لضمان عدم تكرار مثل هذه الانتهاكات التي تمس سيادة العراق وأمنه. كما نجدد رفضنا استخدام الأراضي العراقية منطلقا لأي اعتداء أو تهديد يستهدف دول الجوار. رحم الله الشهداء، وألهم ذويهم الصبر والسلوان، ومنّ على الجرحى بالشفاء العاجل.

استقبلتُ عصر اليوم دولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأخ علي الزيدي، وتبادلتُ مع دولته التعازي بذكرى أربعينية الإمام الحسين (عليه السلام)، حيث أشَدْنا بجميع الجهود الشعبية والحكومية المبذولة لإنجاح هذه الشعيرة الحسينية. كما أكدتُ ودولته ضرورة معالجة الأزمة المالية عبر تنويع مصادر الدخل وتنويع منافذ تصدير النفط، وأشَدتُ بتوجه الحكومة نحو إقامة شراكات حقيقية مع دول المنطقة والعالم. وجددتُ دعمي للحكومة في مسارها الإصلاحي وجهودها في مكافحة الفساد، وأكدتُ ضرورة إكمال الكابينة الحكومية.
