تتكرر من وقت إلى آخر قوائم تصنّف رجال الأعمال في الإمارات ودبي، مرة بحسب "الثروة"، ومرة بحسب "القيمة"، ومرة بحسب حجم الأعمال. وأجد إسمي أحياناً في هذه القوائم، لكن الكثير من هذه التصنيفات لا أعرف على أي أساس علمي أو مالي دقيق تُبنى. كيف يمكن تحديد ثروة رجل أعمال يملك شركات خاصة ودفاترها وحساباتها ليست متاحة للعامة وكيف يمكن معرفة قيمة أصوله والتزاماته واستثماراته الشخصية بدقة من خارج مؤسساته؟ من دون هذه المعلومات، تبقى الأرقام في أفضل الأحوال تقديرات، وليست حقائق. أما إذا كانت الشركة مساهمة ومدرجة في الأسواق المالية، فقيمتها السوقية معلنة ويمكن احتسابها. وفي هذه الحالة، الشركة هي التي يجب أن تدخل في تصنيفات الشركات بحسب قيمتها، وليس رئيس مجلس إدارتها أو مديرها التنفيذي. فالقيمة السوقية للشركة لا تعني أنها ثروة الشخص الذي يديرها. وإذا كان الهدف تصنيف ثروة فرد بعينه، فلا يمكن احتساب سوى ما يملكه هو فعلياً من أسهم وأصول معلنة. لذلك، لا أؤمن كثيراً بتصنيفات "من الأغنى؟" أو "من الأكبر؟". بالنسبة لي، قيمة رجل الأعمال لا تختصر في رقم تقديري، بل في ما بناه، واستمرارية أعماله، وعدد الناس الذين وفر لهم فرص العمل، وما أضافه إلى اقتصاد بلده ومجتمعه. وإذا أردنا الحديث بإنصاف عن كبار رجال الأعمال والعائلات التجارية التي صنعت تاريخ القطاع الخاص في دبي والإمارات، فلا يمكن أن نتجاهل أسماء عريقة مثل الغرير، والفطيم، والملا، وجمعة الماجد، والقرق، والرستماني، والمسعود، والفهيم، وخليفة وعمير بن يوسف، وغيرهم من الرواد. هؤلاء كانوا في السوق منذ البدايات، قبل الطفرة وقبل الشهرة وقبل أن تصبح الإمارات المبروكة مركزاً اقتصادياً عالمياً. بنوا أعمالاً حقيقية، وراكموا الخبرة والمعرفة عبر أجيال، وكان لهم دور أساسي في بناء القطاع الخاص الذي نراه اليوم. وأقول ذلك سواء وضعني أي تصنيف في المركز الأول أو الثالث أو الأخير. الأرقام التقديرية تتغير، والقوائم تأتي وتذهب، لكن التاريخ يعرف من بنى، والسوق يعرف قيمة أهله، والإنجاز الحقيقي لا يحتاج إلى ترتيب.

حتماً سيأتي يوم ونترك المجال الذي اكرمنا الله به وجعلنا قريبين من الناس فلم تكن شطارة او قدرات خارقة بل تمهيد وتوفيق وتيسير من رب العالمين .. ومع خضم الحياة العملية دخلنا في خلافات وقد تكون تجاوزات كما لا ننسى أفضال أناس علينا .. وما ارجوه حقيقة من الله أن يخرجني بسمعة طيبة وعدم ظلم اي زميل او تجاوز .. لا نعلم متى نقطة نهاية السطر و بأي طريقة فكل منا لديه التزامات حياتية صعبة ننتظر فرجاً من الله وتوفيق .. ولعل الاخطاء التي وقعت بها في كثير من مراحلي العملية كانت بسبب كلمة .. نعم دفعت ثمنها ومازلت .. وأفوض أمري إلى الله ان الله بصير بالعباد ستفرج بمشيئة الله
