A typical post picks up 122 interactions against 791K followers, an engagement rate of 0.015%. Measured over 16 original posts, its engagement rate beats 39% of 3,809 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 6.6K times each, and 1.84% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.833% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.73 post a day over the last 30 days, though only 43% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 18:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 16 posts sampled, 88% carry an image or video and 75% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 15K interactions, about 124x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Allen West's engagement rate beats 39% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,809 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 8 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 68% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.015%, Allen West sits above the 25th percentile of the 36,852 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.012% to 0.08%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 36,852 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 106,564 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

This account posts most often around 18:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Last night in McKinney, Texas, the city council voted 7-0 to allow a new mosque and Islamic center to be constructed. I just have to ask, how many city councils in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Pakistan, Sudan, Turkey, Syria, Gaza, or any Muslim dominated country are granting permits for the construction of new Christian churches? As a matter of fact, in Sudan they have murdered over two million Black Christians there and we know of the atrocities in Nigeria. Christian churches and communities are being targeted and destroyed in most of these countries. Funny, ya don’t hear Abdul al-Sayed and Hasan Piker talking about that genocide. Here, especially in Texas, we are experiencing an epidemic increase of Islamic mosques and centers. I have a simple question, why are we allowing the constitutional right of freedom of religion to be extended to an ideology that rejects freedom of religion? Unfortunately we have cowards masquerading as elected officials, McKinney city council the most recent example, who will not pose that question, and respond as they should…say "No!" It’s time we understand that when tolerance becomes a one way street it leads to cultural suicide. Time to say “No” to this intolerant ideology…time to vote for individuals who will say "No!" https://t.co/pJGfrwUIv7

A month ago I was packing for a trip and my oldest grandson Jaxton said he wanted to fly with me and stay in a hotel. That night I planned a trip for he and I to go to Knoxville, Tennessee, where I completed my undergraduate studies. It will be his second trip to Tennessee; when he was 18 months old, we did Thanksgiving in Gatlinburg. He is excited and I am looking forward to our trip to Rocky Top, which I will do with all my grandsons. Grandparents, we have a great responsibility to secure America 300 for our grandchildren. Go Vols! Pictures are now and at 18 months old . . .

Howdy folks . . . Just doing some tuning up at @GunRangeMesq in Mesquite, Texas with my Ruger RXM 9mm, 100 rounds at 10yds. Getting ready for an event at Defender Armory Indoor range in Greensburg, PA, this Friday. C’mon out all you Old School Patriots and let’s talk about preserving our Constitution, safeguarding our individual rights, freedoms, and liberties, and defending our Republic. The Marxists are calling for a “violent revolution” because our Constitution is an obstacle to their goals. Not on our watch! Steadfast and Loyal!

Howdy y’all from @LHShooting in Dallas. Just keeping my shooting skills sharp with my Canik Mete MC-9, 100 rounds at 10 yards. You can see I need some more range time. I’m especially excited about next Saturday, August 22nd, to once again head to Alpine, Texas, and sponsor the Womens (and we can define a woman) 4th Annual Targets and Trails two-gun shooting competition. It’s a beautiful 3 mile course near the Big Bend mountains with several stages for pistol and rifle target engagement. Ladies, sign up and come out with fellow empowered 2A women. I better clean up my act because last year, oh boy, those ladies were good! Steadfast and Loyal!

For the second time, federal judge David Hittner has ruled that the 2023 Texas law preventing sexually oriented performances in front of children violates the First Amendment rights of drag performers. What happened to contributing to the delinquency of minors? Why are we allowing sexual deviants to have direct access to our children? I must ask, does Judge Hittner think it’s constitutionally acceptable to take minor children to strip clubs, show them pornography? This is why we have deviant pedophiles and child sexual abuse material thriving in America. Any parent that takes their child to a sexually explicit, inappropriate, and oriented performance should be criminally charged and lose custody. Judge David Hittner should be impeached and removed from the bench. Mentally disturbed sexual deviants do not have a constitutional right to our children. Governor Greg Abbott should disregard Judge Hittner’s decision and protect Texas children. Hittner’s decision is the pure definition of FUBAR! https://t.co/Nq3ewu494W

Happy #Juneteenth , America, 🇺🇸 courtesy of Abraham Lincoln and the Republican Party! Isn’t it just rich that the party of secession, slavery, segregation, and the decimation of the traditional nuclear Black family is trying to claim this day as theirs? Always remember that on July 4, 1867, those same freed Black men from June 19, 1865, established the Republic Party of Texas. The Democrats were busy creating the Ku Klux Klan. Maybe that’s why Marxist leftists are so into destroying and revising American history.

Reading these numbers

A typical post picks up 122 interactions against 791K followers, an engagement rate of 0.015%. Measured over 16 original posts, its engagement rate beats 39% of 3,809 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 6.6K times each, and 1.84% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.833% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. What is Allen West's engagement rate on X?
Allen West (@AllenWest) has an engagement rate of 0.015%, based on the median interactions across 16 original posts from the last 30 days against 791,082 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.015%, Allen West sits above the 25th percentile of the 36,852 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @AllenWest have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 39% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,809 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @AllenWest post?
Most posts go out around 18:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day, at roughly 0.73 posts per day across the measured window.
