A typical post picks up 137 interactions against 154K followers, an engagement rate of 0.089%. Measured over 21 original posts, its engagement rate beats 52% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 67K times each, and 0.204% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 43.5% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 60% of days. Most posts go out around 05:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 21 posts sampled, 52% carry an image or video and 14% are part of a thread. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 1.5K interactions, about 11x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #dreaminamadeitviral, #tonebird.

Measured over 21 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on September 23, 2026. Recurring tags: #dreaminamadeitviral, #tonebird.

Compared with accounts its own size

Brooke Danielle Nelson's engagement rate beats 52% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 8 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 11% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.089%, Brooke Danielle Nelson sits above the 25th percentile of the 206,113 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.025% to 0.143%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 206,113 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 22,273 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

Posting timing

This account posts most often around 05:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 52% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
  • 5% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 1570 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

One of the most underreported shifts happening in AI right now: U.S. companies are adopting Chinese AI models at a staggering rate πŸ“Š Data from OpenRouter, the platform that lets you switch between every major model, tells the story: Token usage from Chinese AI models by U.S. businesses crossed 30% in February and peaked at 46%. That's up from just ~4% in the first half of 2025. The math is impossible to ignore: Anthropic's Claude Opus 4.7 costs $25 per 1 million tokens. DeepSeek V4 Flash, the most popular Chinese model, costs $0.18. That's less than 1% of the cost. U.S. AI startup Lindy already made the switch, moving their email and meeting note generation service from Anthropic to DeepSeek. Their CEO said performance is identical and they'll save millions of dollars in just months. There's a second factor driving this too: U.S. export controls. When Anthropic was ordered to restrict overseas access to Mythos and Fable in June, it created a market consensus that you can't guarantee long-term stable access to U.S. AI models. Chinese AI models are mostly open-source, downloadable to your own servers β€” the sudden cut-off risk is minimal. It's the classic enterprise tradeoff: massive cost savings on one side, geopolitical risk on the other. And right now, for more and more companies, the math is winning. 🚨 Building video games is stupidly easy now. I built a 3D sci-fi world using GPT-6 Astra + Tripo AI. Tripo made the 3D scenes in Blender. GPT-6 Astra coded the website and made it scroll through the world. Check this out πŸ‘‡ https://t.co/uvRQJaWPP6

I recently tried Tripo for the first time after seeing some of its results on X. I ran the same prompt through Astra and Tripo to compare the outputs. Astra did a good job of turning the concept into a 3D model. Tripo, however, produced a model that required less work before it could fit into an actual 3D workflow. That distinction is important. Generating a model is one thing. Generating an asset that can move further down the production pipeline is another. That’s where I found Tripo particularly strong.

Ranked by total interactions across everything we have tracked for this account, which is a longer history than the 30-day window the rates above use. The multiple compares each post to this account's own median.

Reading these numbers

What is Brooke Danielle Nelson's engagement rate on X?
Brooke Danielle Nelson (@AiWithBDN) has an engagement rate of 0.089%, based on the median interactions across 21 original posts from the last 30 days against 154,466 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.089%, Brooke Danielle Nelson sits above the 25th percentile of the 206,113 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @AiWithBDN have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 52% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @AiWithBDN post?
Most posts go out around 05:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day, at roughly 2 posts per day across the measured window.
