Adam Richman engagement report
@AdamRichman - 519K followers on X
Measured over 11 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on October 17, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 470 interactions against 519K followers, an engagement rate of 0.09%. Measured over 11 original posts, its engagement rate beats 69% of 21,874 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 94K times each, and 0.502% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 18.0% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.3 post a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 53% of days. Most posts go out around 13:00 UTC, and Thursday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 11 posts sampled, 73% carry an image or video, 9% are part of a thread and 9% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 137K interactions, about 291x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #gothamgalleria, #ratethefit, #yomkippur.

Compared with accounts its own size
Adam Richman's engagement rate beats 69% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,874 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 30% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.09%, Adam Richman sits above the 25th percentile of the 218,826 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.025% to 0.149%.

Posting timing
This account posts most often around 13:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses
Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.
| Format | This account | Catalog effect | 95% interval | Accounts behind it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Image or video | 73% of posts | +111% | +108% to +115% | 34K |
| Outbound link | 9% of posts | -41% | -42% to -40% | 32K |
| Typical length | - | +15% | +14% to +16% | 32K |
- 73% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
- 9% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
- Its average post runs 418 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.
These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

April 1972. Air Force navigator Lt. Col. Iceal Hambleton is shot down behind North Vietnamese lines during the Easter Offensive. The air rescue attempts are a catastrophe. Five more aircraft are lost and at least 11 more airmen are killed trying to reach him. So the Navy sends one SEAL, Lt. Tom Norris, with five South Vietnamese commandos, to go get him on foot. One of them was Petty Officer Nguyen Van Kiet, a 27-year-old frogman from the South Vietnamese Navy. They rescued one downed pilot from the river first. But as they pushed deeper to reach Hambleton, two of the commandos refused to go on. They would not risk their lives following an American to save an American. Norris was ready to go alone. Kiet volunteered to go with him. On the night of April 12, the two men found a deserted village, put on local fishermen's clothes, and took an abandoned sampan up the river in thick fog. North Vietnamese troops and tanks lined the shore. They rowed right past Hambleton in the dark and came out under the Cam Lo bridge. They turned around and found him in a clump of bushes, alive but half delirious after 11 days behind enemy lines. The sun was coming up. They hid him in the bottom of the boat under bamboo and started back downriver in daylight. North Vietnamese soldiers spotted them and opened fire. Kiet pulled the sampan behind a riverbank and hid it while Norris called in air strikes. They made it out. Norris received the Medal of Honor. Kiet received the Navy Cross, the only South Vietnamese sailor ever awarded it. He later moved to Seattle, became an American citizen, and worked at Boeing for nearly 20 years.

🎙️Wayne Rooney on Arsenal: “How Arsenal keep getting away with these silly tackles honestly baffles me. What Gabriel did to Martinez today was completely unnecessary. No VAR check, no card nothing. There’s no way Gabriel should have still been on that pitch. For me, that’s a clear red card. Arsenal have developed this habit of bullying players on the pitch. This isn’t the first time, they know exactly what they’re doing, and it’s becoming part of their identity. They constantly push the limits, leave something on opponents and somehow escape punishment. If VAR is there and still refuses to intervene in situations like this, then what exactly is the point of having it? The Premier League needs to start taking this seriously. You cannot keep allowing the same team to get away with these incidents week after week. Arsenal might call it ‘passion’ or ‘intensity’, but sometimes it’s simply dirty football and they’ve been getting away with it for far too long.” #ARSCHE

🚨 JEWISH STUDENTS TARGETED AT UC SAN DIEGO - members of the Alpha Epsilon Pi (AEPi) Jewish fraternity at UCSD were targeted with vile antisemitic and racist graffiti at an off-campus residence where fraternity members live. Fraternity leadership have condemned it as a deliberate attempt to intimidate Jewish students. Jewish students should never have to fear being targeted in their own homes because of who they are.

- What is Adam Richman's engagement rate on X?
- Adam Richman (@AdamRichman) has an engagement rate of 0.09%, based on the median interactions across 11 original posts from the last 30 days against 519,463 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.09%, Adam Richman sits above the 25th percentile of the 218,826 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @AdamRichman have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 69% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,874 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @AdamRichman post?
- Most posts go out around 13:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.3 posts per day across the measured window.
