A typical post picks up 80 interactions against 982K followers, an engagement rate of 0.008%. Measured over 31 original posts, its engagement rate beats 31% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 13K times each, and 0.604% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 1.35% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 4 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 17% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 09:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 31 posts sampled, 61% carry an image or video and 13% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 8.0K interactions, about 99x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #breaking, #sapsec, #dailysafetytip.

Compared with accounts its own size

Yusuf Abramjee's engagement rate beats 31% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 35% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.008%, Yusuf Abramjee sits above the 10th percentile of the 205,374 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.024%.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

POLICE INTENSIFY SEARCH FOR MISSING RUNNER ELIZABETH MOKOLO MOSELAKGOMO, ALSO KNOWN AS ‘TSONTSO’ The South African Police Service (SAPS) has intensified the search for 38-year-old Elizabeth Mokolo Moselakgomo, also known as “Tsontso”, who has been reported missing after she went for an afternoon run on Wednesday, 10 September 2026. Moselakgomo reportedly left her home in Kempton Park during the afternoon to go for a run and has not returned. She left behind her eight-year-old daughter. When she failed to return home later on that evening, her daughter contacted family members, who subsequently reported her disappearance to the police. Since the disappearance was reported, police have been conducting searches and following up on all available leads in an effort to locate Moselakgomo. Police have also made enquiries at hospitals and mortuaries, but these efforts have so far yielded no positive results. The circumstances surrounding her disappearance are currently being investigated, and police are pursuing every possible lead to establish her whereabouts and ensure her safe return to her family. SAPS is making an urgent appeal to members of the public, the media and the social media community to assist in locating Moselakgomo, who may also be known to people as Tsontso. Anyone who may have seen her, knows her whereabouts, or has any information that could assist the investigation is urged to immediately contact Warrant Officer Elvis Manyike on 082 465 7249. Members of the public are urged to share this appeal widely across social media platforms and community networks. Even seemingly insignificant information could prove crucial in locating her. SAPS appeals to everyone who may have information to come forward. Our priority is to locate Elizabeth “Tsontso” Moselakgomo and reunite her safely with her family.

BREAKING NEWS: As reported, @eNCA has seen a provisional order to attach assets issued against more than 15 companies and individuals, including Ignatius Mothakati and Lungile "Malombo" Maseko. Sources indicate that the South African Revenue Service's (SARS) illicit economy unit conducted an investigation into the matter. SARS is currently seeking a payment of R77 million from Mthakati and has subsequently identified and listed assets and property belonging to him for Preservation. The allegations pertain to money laundering and tax evasion implicating Mthakati and a business official Aaron Mangoato contracted with Eskom. The case is scheduled to be heard in the Middleburg High Court court next week. An ex parte application was submitted by SARS and SIU in March. @Abramjee

North-West University (NWU) has secured a major milestone in establishing the Desmond Tutu School of Medicine, after the Council on Higher Education (CHE) accredited its six-year MBChB programme. The programme will be offered at the Potchefstroom Campus, with the first students expected to begin in 2028. NWU is now pursuing professional accreditation from the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), with a visit planned for February 2027. The medical school will become South Africa’s 11th, aimed at helping address the country’s shortage of doctors and healthcare needs, particularly in underserved communities. The university still needs to finalise partnerships with the University of the Witwatersrand and the National Health Laboratory Service. The curriculum will emphasise clinical competence, ethics, compassion, justice, integrity and service, reflecting the values of its namesake, Archbishop Desmond Tutu. NWU says the CHE accreditation marks a crucial turning point after years of planning and development, with the university now focused on delivering the school by January 2028. @theNWU

What is Yusuf Abramjee's engagement rate on X?
Yusuf Abramjee (@Abramjee) has an engagement rate of 0.008%, based on the median interactions across 31 original posts from the last 30 days against 981,878 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.008%, Yusuf Abramjee sits above the 10th percentile of the 205,374 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @Abramjee have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 31% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @Abramjee post?
Most posts go out around 09:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day, at roughly 4.03 posts per day across the measured window.
