Arun Prabhudesai engagement report
@8ap - 378K followers on X
Measured over 8 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on September 1, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 342 interactions against 378K followers, an engagement rate of 0.091%. Measured over 8 original posts, its engagement rate beats 52% of 3,775 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 14K times each, and 2.44% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 3.71% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.6 post a day over the last 30 days, though only 40% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 08:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 8 posts sampled, 75% carry an image or video and 13% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 7.3K interactions, about 21x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #humanoidrobot, #unitree, #whrg2026.

Compared with accounts its own size
Arun Prabhudesai's engagement rate beats 52% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,775 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 6 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 68% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.091%, Arun Prabhudesai sits above the 50th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.08% to 0.433%.

It's Shameful For the whole Tech Industry - A Negative PR against a tech creator ! I never thought I’d see the day when money would be spent not on improving a product but on trying to damage a creator’s reputation. They tried multiple ways to get promotional coverage from me. I declined because I had trust concerns & many people already know that. I simply did my job honestly & shared what I found. If the brand disagreed, that’s their choice. But now I am seeing coordinated attempts to push a false narrative around Gyan Therapy along with multiple posts targeting me personally. Honestly I have one question ? What exactly do you gain from this? People know me because of my work, not because of any manufactured narrative. Reputation built over years cannot be erased by a few sponsored attacks. What disappoints me the most is seeing personal attacks extend beyond me and even include my family. That is a line that should never be crossed. If someone believes this pressure, negativity or character assassination will make me stop speaking honestly - they are mistaken. I have always tried to do my work with integrity and I will continue to do so.

As someone who’s constantly travelling between Pune and Mumbai, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been stuck in the Lonavala ghat for hours. So for me, the Missing Link isn’t just “30 mins saved.” It’s those random 1–2 hours stuck behind trucks that finally go away. Glad heavy vehicles won’t be allowed initially. Less stress, safer drives, especially during monsoons. Also, driving through the cable bridge in the rains on a fresh route… that’s something I’m actually looking forward to. Can’t wait to experience this.

Irrespective of which political party you support, students should never have to fight this hard just to be heard. What happened in Delhi yesterday was difficult to watch. After seeing some of the videos, I had to stop scrolling. Students are already dealing with exam uncertainty, paper leaks, delayed results, and one of the toughest job markets in years. Their frustration is real, and they deserve to be heard. I sincerely wish a speedy recovery to every student and police personnel who was injured. I also hope everyone involved, the authorities as well as the protesters, does everything possible to keep the protests peaceful. A democracy is strongest when people can raise their voices without violence.

I don't know if you've noticed this or not.... but the CBSE fiasco revealed something most people miss about Gen Z. They don't just rant on social media or forward messages on WhatsApp. 👉 Vedant Shrivastava exposed answer sheet mix-ups. 👉 Sarthak Siddhan dug through procurement documents and questioned the tender process. 👉 Nisarga Adhikary uncovered security vulnerabilities in the evaluation system. This generation is far more aware, investigative, and willing to challenge institutions than people think. Which is why I keep saying: once frontier AI models become even more capable, every company, government body, and institution will be under far greater scrutiny. The people using these tools won't just be developers. They'll be curious 18-year-olds with time, skills, and a reason to ask difficult questions.

If you have already bought a new smartphone, Congratulations!! You have saved yourself a lot of money.. I am repeating this...the best time to buy a smartphone was yesterday, next best is today. Don't wait for BBD, GIF sales for good deals, you will not get it! I don't see the situation improving for another 12 months atleast. And I am pretty confident we will never see pre-2025 smartphone prices....EVER! This is a PSA - please spread... #PSA

Hinjawadi–Shivajinagar Metro deadlines missed: ❌ March 2025 ❌ Sep–Dec 2025 ❌ March 2026 ❌ May 2026 (Phase 1: Maan–Baner) ❌ June 2026 (Phase 1: Maan–Baner) ⏳ July 15, 2026: likely to be missed too. Pune's IT corridor desperately needs this metro. Lakhs of commuters are stuck in traffic every single day. Trial runs have been happening since January and 6 months later we are still stuck with dates. Pune has waited long enough. Hopefully, this is the last deadline we miss. @MetroPuneri @OfficialPMRDA @CMOMaharashtra @metrorailpune

- What is Arun Prabhudesai's engagement rate on X?
- Arun Prabhudesai (@8ap) has an engagement rate of 0.091%, based on the median interactions across 8 original posts from the last 30 days against 378,183 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.091%, Arun Prabhudesai sits above the 50th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @8ap have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 52% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,775 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @8ap post?
- Most posts go out around 08:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day, at roughly 0.6 posts per day across the measured window.
