How this number moves. We read Telegram every 15 seconds. Between readings the count is an estimate: it moves at the account's recent pace, taken from our daily history and this session's readings, one reading behind, so each new reading continues the count instead of correcting it. A reading that comes in a little lower makes it pause rather than step back.

How this Telegram counter works
@blumcrypto has 13,530,662 Telegram subscribers as of 2026-10-17 00:41 UTC. The counter above re-reads that number every 15 seconds while the page is open. Between readings it moves at the account's recent pace, taken from our daily history and from this session's readings, and is timed to land on each new reading just as the next one is due. Running one reading behind means a new reading continues the count instead of correcting it; one that comes in a little lower makes the counter pause rather than step back.
No social platform pushes follower counts to anyone in real time, ours included. Every live counter on the internet, including the ones streamers put on screen, polls a number on an interval and fills the gap between readings. Read live from the public t.me channel preview, which carries the exact subscriber integer.
Telegram exposes the exact integer, so every reading is a measured number rather than a rounded one; only the digits shown between readings are estimated. When a reading fails, the counter stops on the last measured value and labels it instead of running on.
The daily chart above is not from this session: it is 111 daily readings from the Telegram directory we run, which has tracked @blumcrypto since June 9, 2026. Over that window the account went from 17,977,180 to 13,555,174 subscribers.
