A typical post picks up 367 interactions against 216K followers, an engagement rate of 0.171%. Measured over 36 original posts, its engagement rate beats 67% of 15,519 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 25K times each, and 1.48% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 11.5% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.7 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 63% of days. Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Wednesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 36 posts sampled, 56% carry an image or video and 22% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 5.2K interactions, about 14x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #breastcancerawareness, #new, #unga.

Compared with accounts its own size

Joe Wilson's engagement rate beats 67% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (15,519 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 8 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 55% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.171%, Joe Wilson sits above the 50th percentile of the 156,596 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.127% to 0.604%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 156,596 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 26,062 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • Its average post runs 269 characters, which falls in the 180 - 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts of 180 to 280 characters match the same accounts' other posts almost exactly.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

The Vucic regime is trying to obstruct Serbian diaspora voting. This is exactly what Georgian Dream did to rig the Georgian elections. All Serbian citizens must be allowed to vote! This is the very essence of free and fair elections.

Vucic tries to present the Serbian people as pro-Russia, pro-CCP, and pro-war criminal but this is a propagandistic LIE. The Serbian people want economic opportunity, prosperity, rule of law, and PEACE in the region. It is the Vucic regime alone that invites in authoritarian forces and fans the flames of hatred.

The October 25 elections in Serbia must be FREE and they must be FAIR. The Serbian people deserve to be actually heard, not receive a rubber-stamp regime. Vucic has attempted to transform Serbia into a corrupt authoritarian state and will try to rig the elections. We must watch CLOSELY.

I am disappointed that almost a month since President Trump ended Syria’s designation as a state sponsor of terrorism, @BISGov still has not removed export controls on Syria. Syria continues to be placed in country list E, the only country in this group that is not a state sponsor of terrorism, hurting American companies and jobs which want to invest in Syria. Hopeful that updated guidance can come out of @BISGov soon implementing Pres Trump’s vision to give Syria a chance!

US funds the Iraqi government which pays salaries of the PMF while Iran-backed militias attack our forces. This has to stop. I’m grateful the House NDAA included my provision to cut funding to Iraq unless they disarm, demobilize and reintegrate all Iran-backed militias.

Five years ago today dictator Kais Saied carried out his coup in Tunisia transforming the only constitutional democracy in the Arab world into a one man dictatorship. In the years since, Tunisia is much worse off today. Civil liberties, democratic elections, and separation of powers have been abolished. Thousands of political prisoners languish in jail simply for being opponents of the dictator. Tyrant Saied has even jailed our own U.S. citizens. Corruption has increased phenomenally as Saied’s regime steals brazenly from the people of Tunisia as the economy remains a disaster destroying opportunities for the Tunisian youth. To top it off, Saied has moved from a partner to the U.S. to close associate of War Criminal Putin, the regime in Iran, and terrorist Hezbollah. I am grateful that within hours of the coup I was one of the first members of Congress to condemn it. I urge the @StateDept to issue a travel warning of “level 4 do not travel” for Tunisia especially as it jails Americans, Europeans and anyone based upon what seems is the mood of a madman tyrant. I will also continue to work to pass the Tunisia Democracy Restoration Act imposing sanctions on Saied and his inner circle. Democracy in Tunisia will win in the end. Madmen tyrants will not last. Free Tunisia 🇹🇳 “If the people one day want life, there is no doubt that destiny with answer the call.”

I was grateful to send this letter to @EPP President @ManfredWeber. Vucic and his corrupt authoritarian party are opposed to western civilization and should not have any association with the EPP. Europe must wake up to the election rigging of Vucic and insist on Free and Fair Elections in Serbia.

A typical post picks up 367 interactions against 216K followers, an engagement rate of 0.171%. Measured over 36 original posts, its engagement rate beats 67% of 15,519 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. What is Joe Wilson's engagement rate on X?
Joe Wilson (@RepJoeWilson) has an engagement rate of 0.171%, based on the median interactions across 36 original posts from the last 30 days against 216,197 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.171%, Joe Wilson sits above the 50th percentile of the 156,596 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @RepJoeWilson have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 67% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (15,519 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @RepJoeWilson post?
Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Wednesday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.67 posts per day across the measured window.
