Early reading. We have captured 5 original posts for this account, below the 8 we require before treating a median as settled. The numbers above describe what we have seen so far, not a finished profile of the account.

A typical post picks up 464 interactions against 175K followers, an engagement rate of 0.265%. Posts are seen about 10K times each, and 4.56% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 5.82% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.2 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 13% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 15:00 UTC, and Saturday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 5 posts sampled, 80% carry an image or video and 20% are part of a thread. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 11K interactions, about 23x its own typical post. Only 5 original posts have been captured so far, fewer than the 8 posts we want behind a median before treating it as settled. Read the figures above as an early measurement of this account, not as a finished profile of it.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 156,596 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 26,062 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

This account posts most often around 15:00 UTC, and Saturday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 0% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 498 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

So delighted that my dear friend Constable Sukhvinder Singh Sunger of the Vancouver Police Department has made global headlines for a historic appearance at the prestigious Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Scotland. Sukhvinder became the first turbaned Sikh Drum Major to lead the Vancouver Police Pipe Band. In 2021, Constable Sukhvinder and I made this video together in Victoria, BC. I am excited to share that joyful moment.

Today marks 20 years since I arrived in Canada. I landed at Vancouver International Airport on August 1, 2006. I started my first job in Whistler, B.C., then lived in numerous communities across Canada before finally settling in the Yukon. Along the way, I’ve had the honour of being recognized among Canada’s Top 25 Immigrants and of receiving an award from Canada’s Governor General. Don’t blame Justin for adding one more immigrant here 😃. I know this is a trend these days. It was actually Mr. Harper/ Conservatives who brought me to Canada. I even have a welcome letter from Mr. Harper when I became a Canadian Citizen 😃

Today at Rideau Hall in Ottawa, a joyful moment talking with the Governor General of Canada, the Honourable Louise Arbour, who presented me with my medal along with other distinguished Canadians. This is an informal photo taken during lunch; the official photo from the award ceremony will arrive in 1–2 days.

Official photographs from the award ceremony at Rideau Hall in Ottawa, where, along with distinguished Canadians, I was presented with the Meritorious Service Medal by the Governor General of Canada, the Honourable Louise Arbour. I feel deeply honoured and profoundly grateful for this recognition. Thank you, dear Canadians, for your love and support, expressed in so many ways, including forms I may never fully perceive ❤️🙏🏽 Photos by: MS Anne-Marie Brisson, Rideau Hall © OSGG, 2026

Happy Canada Day, friends🧡! Posting this important video to mark the day and celebrate. It brings together Indigenous cultures and the cultures of people who have been settled here for a long time and those who arrived more recently—showing love, harmony, and unity among all when we create something beautiful together.

Joy, in the healthiest sense, is not the loud promise that everything will be fine. It is not a bright sticker pasted over a cracked window. Joy is a steady, clear-eyed willingness to notice what is good without denying what hurts. In the Yukon, joy can be as small as the smell of tea in a warm mug, as quiet as a raven’s wingbeat, as simple as a neighbor waving from across a snowy road. It does not erase pain. It sits beside it and says, “I am here too.” ***** By 2026, digital media had engulfed everyday life. In 2026, I created an experience through the tactile, quiet, unhurried act of reading on paper. Inside The Gurdeep Magazine, you’ll find essays crafted for slow, quiet reading, all centered on joy, hope, and positivity. Hard days will come the way weather comes, sometimes predicted and sometimes sudden. When they arrive, try to meet them with a steadier story. Tell yourself that difficulty is part of being alive, not a stain on your character. Tell yourself that you can carry joy like a pocket stone, smooth from use. Tell yourself that hope is a skill you can practice. Tell yourself that your energy is precious and your glow is worth protecting. ***** By 2026, digital media had engulfed everyday life.
