Early reading. We have captured 1 original post for this account, below the 8 we require before treating a median as settled. The numbers above describe what we have seen so far, not a finished profile of the account.

A typical post picks up 17 interactions against 64K followers, an engagement rate of 0.027%. Posts are seen about 1.0K times each, and 1.68% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 1.59% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.2 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 17% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 18:00 UTC, and Thursday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 1 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 65 interactions, about 3.8x its own typical post. Only 1 original post have been captured so far, fewer than the 8 posts we want behind a median before treating it as settled. Read the figures above as an early measurement of this account, not as a finished profile of it.

Today, from the beautiful city of Bishoftu, #Ethiopia 🇪🇹 launched this year’s Green Legacy Initiative under the leadership of H.E. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed. Over the last seven years, the initiative has mobilized millions of Ethiopians and friends of #Ethiopia to plant billions of seedlings across the country, transforming landscapes and demonstrating the power of collective action in addressing climate change. Green Legacy has become a flagship example of Ethiopia’s commitment to sustainable development and climate action delivering tangible benefits through ecosystem restoration, improved agricultural productivity, enhanced food security, green job creation, watershed protection, and strengthened climate resilience. As we commence another season of planting, we reaffirm our resolve to leave a greener, more prosperous, and climate-resilient Ethiopia for future generations. Together, we are cultivating hope, resilience, and a lasting legacy. #GreenLegacy #ClimateAction #SustainableDevelopment #Ethiopia

A historic milestone for #Ethiopia. The successful conclusion of the Inclusive National Dialogue is, in many ways, a first of its kind. What matters most to me is the emerging culture of dialogue; debating ideas rather than leveraging our differences to create division. As an Ethiopian and a mother who longs for a better civic culture of solving our differences peacefully and passing on a stronger, more united Ethiopia to my children, I see this as a turning point. From now on, no interest group should be able to justify violence or war by claiming the absence of a platform for dialogue. We now have a national space to listen, deliberate and seek solutions together. Whatever the outcomes of the Dialogue, we have identified basic national matters on which we can build common ground. Let us use that foundation to strengthen state-building, nation-building and the unity of our #Ethiopia. Congratulations to the Commission and all the Commissioners. I do not envy you, considering the incredibly bumpy road and complex journey you had to navigate, but I do believe you are among the luckiest Ethiopians to have successfully carried out such a sophisticated and historic mission. Ethiopia will remember your sacrifices, perseverance and service, and, most importantly, what you have delivered for our country. Congratulations again! 🇪🇹

#Ethiopia’s digital service transformation, championed by H.E. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, reached another milestone today with the launch of the Unified Mesob Mobile App. Complementing the successful rollout of Mesob One-Stop Service Centers across federal and regional cities, the platform will further enhance service accessibility, quality, efficiency, transparency, and accountability. Beyond modernizing public services, these innovations are fostering stronger state-society relations and advancing a more responsive and citizen-centered government. #DigitalEthiopia #Mesob #PublicSectorInnovation #DigitalGovernment #Ethiopia

Today, Ethiopia has once again shown the world what is possible when a nation unites behind a shared purpose. Congratulations to every Ethiopian on the extraordinary achievement of successfully planting 805.3 million trees in a single day through the #GreenLegacyInitiative. This remarkable milestone is a significant addition to what we have achieved on environmental and climate resilience arena in the past years. But it is also a powerful testament to our collective courage, determination, and unwavering belief that no challenge is too great when we stand together. Achievements once thought unimaginable become reality when a nation is driven by a common vision. This historic success strengthens our national pride, deepens our confidence in our collective potential, and inspire us to carry the same spirit of unity and purpose into every aspect of Ethiopia’s development. Together, we continue to prove that all things are possible when a nation is united. #GreenLegacy #Ethiopia #Unity #ClimateAction #NationalPride

#Ethiopia 🇪🇹 is voting! If you question Ethiopia’s election process, what practical alternative are you proposing? If elections are not the answer, then what mechanism do you suggest for ensuring democratic continuity, political legitimacy, and the peaceful transfer or renewal of public mandate? Ethiopians have consistently demonstrated their commitment to democracy and understand that the continuity and legitimacy of the state are ultimately safeguarded through the electoral process. This raises a sincere question for sections of the international media that often pass judgment without fully appreciating the realities on the ground: If you question Ethiopia’s election process, what practical alternative are you proposing? If elections are not the answer, then what mechanism do you suggest for ensuring democratic continuity, political legitimacy, and the peaceful transfer or renewal of public mandate? It is unfortunate that some international media outlets continue to portray Ethiopia and its democratic processes through preconceived narratives rather than a balanced assessment of realities on the ground. Ethiopia is a sovereign nation of more than 130 million people with a rich history, strong institutions, and citizens who are fully capable of determining their own political future. The Ethiopian people do not need outsiders to speak on their behalf or decide what is best for them. Their voices, aspirations, and choices deserve respect. Too often, commentary from abroad is based on selective information, limited engagement with local realities, and assumptions that fail to capture the complexity of Ethiopia’s political, social, and economic landscape. While scrutiny and constructive criticism are welcome, judgment should be informed, fair, and grounded in facts rather than stereotypes or predetermined conclusions. What is particularly striking is the tendency of some commentators to overlook major crises, conflicts, and humanitarian tragedies linked to policies pursued by powerful states, while applying a different standard to developing nations. Credibility requires consistency. Those who claim to champion democracy and human rights should be equally willing to examine challenges within their own societies and the global consequences of their governments’ actions. As Ethiopia prepares for its electoral processes, the ultimate arbiters of the country’s future are not foreign editorial boards or distant commentators, but the Ethiopian people themselves. Respect for democracy begins with respecting the agency, intelligence, and sovereignty of nations and their citizens. Ethiopia’s journey, like that of any nation, is not without challenges. However, it should be evaluated through objective analysis, genuine engagement, and an honest appreciation of the progress, complexities, and aspirations of its people not through narratives imposed from afar.

Three years ago, under #Ethiopia’s Homegrown Economic Reform, we launched the Ethiopian Statistics Development Program (#ESDP). Today, we held a National Summit to reflect on the progress made so far and the achievements are tremendously encouraging. We have made significant strides in building a modern, robust national statistical system anchored in professionalism, integrity, and global comparability. We modernized data collection, expanded scale and coverage, and introduced new ones such as the Ethiopian Establishment Census. For the first time in Ethiopia’s history, we are also introducing a new legal framework that strengthens the independence of the national statistical system through an oversight Statistical Board. Most importantly, every step of this reform has pushed our limits, strengthened national capacity, and advanced Ethiopia’s data sovereignty. Now we are making well informed policy decisions and have better planning , monitoring & evaluation landscape thanks to this reform. Visit our exhibition at Addis International Convention Center from May 19–20, 2026.

Happy New year! መልካም አዲስ አመት!! 🇪🇹 As we welcome the New Year, we do so with gratitude and renewed hope. This past year, Ethiopia advanced on many fronts: a successful national election, the conclusion of an inclusive National Dialogue, strong economic growth and reform, major milestones in infrastructure, agriculture, digital transformation and other sectors and the remarkable achievement of the Green legacy initiative. But our greatest achievement is not measured only in numbers. It is the growing conviction that we can shape our future together. From dialogue to development, from reform to Green Legacy, we are building the foundations of a stronger, more prosperous Ethiopia. Our journey is not over. For centuries, Ethiopians have carried a shared quest for dignity, opportunity and prosperity. That quest is ours to advance. May the New Year bring peace to our people, opportunity to our youth, prosperity to every family, and renewed confidence in Ethiopia’s bright future. Happy New Year, Ethiopia! 🇪🇹
