A typical post picks up 447 interactions against 171K followers, an engagement rate of 0.262%. Measured over 13 original posts, its engagement rate beats 74% of 14,930 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 7.0K times each, and 6.42% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 4.06% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.4 post a day over the last 30 days, though only 30% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 10:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 13 posts sampled, 15% carry an image or video and 69% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 12K interactions, about 26x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Renée Hoenderkamp's engagement rate beats 74% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (14,930 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 8 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 92% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.262%, Renée Hoenderkamp sits above the 50th percentile of the 151,559 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.126% to 0.6%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 151,559 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 27,164 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

Posting timing

This account posts most often around 10:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 15% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
  • 69% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts, so a large share of this account's output sits in the weakest bucket we measure.
  • Its average post runs 233 characters, which falls in the 180 - 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts of 180 to 280 characters match the same accounts' other posts almost exactly.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

If this is what drag has become, then drag needs to go. This isn’t art. It’s not humor. It is the dehumanization of women and women’s bodies, and it is no better than pornography. #NoMoreDrag https://t.co/dZqjWaD9lf

A very approximate list of the average monthly essential expenditure a British state pensioner has: Food £260 Council tax £200 Water rates £60 Gas/electric £300 Contents and building insurance £30 Window cleaner £15 TV licence £20 Phone and broadband £40 Petrol £30 Car tax/insurance/MOT £50 Garden waste bin £5 Boiler service £8 Hair cuts £10 Dentist £20 Total: 1,048. While the state pension is £965. And God knows what you do if you have ground rent and management fees to pay. And for heaven's sake don't enjoy yourselves by buying a plant for the garden, a lipstick, a pair of socks, or a birthday present for a grandchild because you can't actually afford it. And be very careful with your glasses because a new pair at Specsavers isn't cheap. What a thoroughly disgusting country we live in when old people have to live like this.

Great to join the Trans+ Solidarity Alliance lobby day in Parliament last week. At a time when trans people are facing relentless attacks on their rights, dignity and ability to live freely, solidarity matters more than ever. Trans rights are human rights. I’ll always stand with the trans community in the fight for equality, safety and freedom 🏳️‍⚧️

Today I'm voting for the Assisted Dying Bill at second reading. I've seen what happens when people are denied choice at the end of their life, and the deaths that shouldn't have happened the way they did. This bill exists because too many people have gone through that. Contrary to popular belief, the bill that passes today isn't necessarily the bill we'll end up with. I hope colleagues vote to restart the legislative process, so we can give people the choice and dignity they deserve.

Reading these numbers

What is Renée Hoenderkamp's engagement rate on X?
Renée Hoenderkamp (@DrHoenderkamp) has an engagement rate of 0.262%, based on the median interactions across 13 original posts from the last 30 days against 171,383 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.262%, Renée Hoenderkamp sits above the 50th percentile of the 151,559 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @DrHoenderkamp have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 74% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (14,930 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @DrHoenderkamp post?
Most posts go out around 10:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.43 posts per day across the measured window.
