Early reading. We have captured 1 original post for this account, below the 8 we require before treating a median as settled. The numbers above describe what we have seen so far, not a finished profile of the account.

A typical post picks up 18K interactions against 1.6M followers, an engagement rate of 1.16%. Posts are seen about 1.9M times each, and 0.946% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 122.8% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.17 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 7% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 12:00 UTC, and Friday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 1 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 437K interactions, about 24x its own typical post. Only 1 original post have been captured so far, fewer than the 8 posts we want behind a median before treating it as settled. Read the figures above as an early measurement of this account, not as a finished profile of it.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 157,102 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 26,052 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

Posting timing

This account posts most often around 12:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 100% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
  • 0% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 269 characters, which falls in the 180 - 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts of 180 to 280 characters match the same accounts' other posts almost exactly.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

A note on our work to combat viewbotting, from CEO Dan Clancy: There’s been a lot of discussion recently about viewbotting on Twitch, and I wanted to share an update on our enforcement efforts. Viewbotting is bad for our business. We don't benefit from it, and we believe it harms the creator ecosystem overall. However, effectively combatting viewbotting is challenging. As we deploy updates to our real-time detection algorithms, viewbotting companies quickly respond with updates to avoid detection. Also, our detection systems must be precise to ensure that legitimate viewers are appropriately counted. Today, we’re introducing a new enforcement type that we plan to roll out over the next few weeks. For channels identified as persistently viewbotting, we will apply a cap to the streamer’s CCV for a fixed period of time, on all of the Twitch surfaces. The cap will be based upon historical data regarding that creator’s non-viewbotted traffic. Repeated violations will result in longer penalties. Streamers will be notified when an enforcement is applied, along with the duration of the penalty, and can appeal through the appeals portal. While streamers will be notified, we will not make a follow-on announcement when we begin issuing these enforcements, and will not publicly share details about when and where these enforcements are applied. Unfortunately, providing details simply makes it easier for companies to work around our interventions. We believe this approach will help us make meaningful progress against viewbotting. We will continue refining our systems and expand when we apply these enforcements over time. - Dan Clancy

🚨 WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION IS THREATENING AMERICA AND THE WORLD WHO Director Tedros just issued a veiled threat after America and Argentina announced they are leaving the organisation. Right on cue, a suspicious Hantavirus “incident” emerges. Tedros then begs them to reconsider, declaring that “solidarity is the best immunity.” Translation: Rejoin our global scam or the next plandemic gets unleashed on you. This is blackmail wrapped in a lab coat. Pay your dues, hand over your sovereignty, and obey the so-called experts or face the consequences. Sound familiar? COVID origins buried, life-saving treatments censored, unprecedented power seized. Nations finally break free from the grip and suddenly a timely outbreak appears to drag them back in. Coincidence? Or the same fear-to-control playbook running again? The WHO is not a health body. It is a global control machine. Countries choosing freedom are exiting. Those who stay will get the “solidarity” treatment whether they like it or not. This is a protection racket disguised as public health.

Twitch will launch the ability for creators to self-enforce a view cap if they feel they are being viewbotted. This would presumably allow the creator to avoid punishment issued by Twitch's detection by proactively self-capping. https://t.co/gdvk3znpDt
