Hamed Saghiri is a musician, composer, and the conductor of the large Iranian instruments ensemble Shahoo. In 2000, with the aim of presenting a different structure in the performance of Iranian music, and relying on the ancient instrument tanbur while incorporating lesser-known Iranian instruments, he founded the Shahoo ensemble. This group consists of more than fifty musicians who play Iranian instruments. So far, Hamed Saghiri has released numerous albums, including Cypresses Die Standing, Soltaniyeh, The Sky Emperors, On the Orbit of Tanbur, The Women of My Land, Hidden Words, Beyond Question, and Keepsake of the Beloved. Through his music, Hamed Saghiri Seek to honor tradition wile crafting a fresh and inspiring sound for oudience wordwide.
