Aujourd’hui, je comprends mieux le poids que nos darons portaient sur leurs épaules. Je réalise aussi pourquoi ils rentraient du boulot fatigués, parfois silencieux, parfois frustrés. Ce n’était pas juste une question de mauvaise humeur, mais le résultat de responsabilités lourdes, de sacrifices constants et de pressions qu’on ne voyait pas quand on était plus jeunes. En grandissant, on découvre que derrière leur dureté ou leur silence, il y avait surtout de l’amour, du courage et une volonté de nous offrir une vie meilleure. Qu’Allah bénisse nos parents, leur accorde la paix, la santé et les récompense pour tout ce qu’ils ont fait pour nous, même ce qu’on n’a jamais su voir.

Il était riche, mais étrangement absent. Quand la vie frappait autour de lui, maladie, difficulté, décès, il ne venait jamais.
