A typical post picks up 11 interactions against 83K followers, an engagement rate of 0.013%. Measured over 45 original posts, its engagement rate beats 20% of 6,874 tracked accounts of a similar size. That is a reason to look at how the audience behaves - reply depth, saves, whether the followers are recent - rather than a conclusion about it on its own. Posts are seen about 1.4K times each, and 0.799% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 1.66% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.8 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 47% of days. Most posts go out around 11:00 UTC, and Saturday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 45 posts sampled, 91% carry an image or video, 11% are part of a thread and 24% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 156 interactions, about 14x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #watchingthevote, #osundecides2026, #nigeriadecides2027.

Compared with accounts its own size

Yiaga Africa's engagement rate beats 20% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (6,874 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 4 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 34% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.013%, Yiaga Africa sits above the 10th percentile of the 66,536 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.016%.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 24% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 433 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

Critical Incident Report: In PU 020, Open Space, Fiwasaye Junction, Opp. VIO House Along Ring Road, Osogbo, voters were being accredited and permitted to vote without presenting a physical or downloaded PVC. Instead, voters reportedly presented sheets of paper containing their Voter Identification Numbers (VINs), which were used for accreditation before they were allowed to cast their ballots. The PU has 265 registered voters and 223 collected PVCs. This violates the prescribed accreditation procedure. Yiaga Africa calls on INEC to immediately investigate and ensure strict compliance with the electoral framework. #OsunDecides2026 #WatchingTheVote

You say “I don’t do politics.” But politics is already doing you. The price of your food, your school fees, your job prospects, the road you use and even what happens on your phone are all connected to decisions made by people in power. So where exactly does “not doing politics” leave you? And if these decisions affect your everyday life, should you be paying more attention to who makes them and why? Time check from Osun. Our #WatchingTheVote data clerks are still at our Data Centre, actively chasing reports coming in from our field observers and keeping the data moving in real time. The election may be winding down, but our work is not. We are staying with the data because every detail matters when integrity is on the line. #OsunDecides2026 #WatchingTheVote

Yiaga Africa is deeply concerned by a viral video in which the Chairman of Kuje Area Council reportedly threatens residents with opposing political views to leave the Area Council if they fail to vote for his party. Such rhetoric is irresponsible, inflammatory and highly condemnable. No public official should threaten, intimidate or question a citizen’s right to reside in any part of Nigeria because of their political choice. This level of political overzealousness must be firmly rejected. We therefore expect the Presidency and the ruling party to publicly distance themselves from this statement and caution their officials and supporters against threats, intimidation and inflammatory rhetoric. This is particularly important given the commitments contained in the Peace Accord signed less than two weeks ago. Political parties and their candidates must demonstrate those commitments not merely through signatures, but through the conduct and rhetoric of their leaders and supporters. No Nigerian should be threatened with eviction from their community because of how they choose to vote. #NigeriaDecides2027 #WatchingTheVote

What is Yiaga Africa's engagement rate on X?
Yiaga Africa (@YIAGA) has an engagement rate of 0.013%, based on the median interactions across 45 original posts from the last 30 days against 83,078 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.013%, Yiaga Africa sits above the 10th percentile of the 66,536 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @YIAGA have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 20% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (6,874 accounts), which puts it in the bottom quarter for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @YIAGA post?
Most posts go out around 11:00 UTC, and Saturday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.83 posts per day across the measured window.
