وغفرتُ ليس لأنَّ ذنبَكَ يُغفرُ! وعفوتُ ليس لأنَّ ما اقترَفتـَه كفُّكَ هيِّنٌ أو أنَّ كسريَ هكذا قد يُجبرُ! ونسيتُ بل أنسيتُ نفسيَ عُنوةً ما كانَ من تلك الحكايةِ علقماً مُرّاً وصعباً قاتماً أوَ تذكرُ؟ وصبرتُ حتى أنَّني ما عُدتُ أعرفُ كيف قد لا أصبِرُ! أعفو لأنِّي أستحقُّ رحابةَ الغفرانِ يجدرُ بي النقاءُ وكيف بي لا يجدُرُ؟ حرَّرتُ بالغُفرانِ روحَكَ رُبَّما لكنَّما روحي التي تتحرَّرُ! دثَّرتُ قلبَكَ صاحبي بالعفوِ لكِنْ كانَ قلبي من بهِ يتدثَّرُ! ومنحتُكَ الصفحَ الجميلَ تسامياً فوجدتُه وبكُلِّ شيءٍ يخطُرُ بمواجعي الأولى وبل حتى بجُرحي الـ لمْ يَزَلْ يتقطَّرُ! أنا أستحقُّ جمالَ هذا العفوِ أُشبهُه فغادرْ صامِتاً لا عذرَ يشفعُ لا حروفَ تُعبِّرُ مجروحةٌ روحي وقلبي نازفٌ مقرورةٌ ولهَى ألمُّ نثارَ ما أبقيتَ لي يتبعثرُ! لكنَّ شيئاً ما بروحي كلَّمَا انبهمَ الطريقُ أنارَ لي وأضاءني وعدا أمامي واشترى لي بسمةً شيئاً يُؤانِسُ وحشتي وبنفحِه أتعطَّرُ!

أظننتَ صمتَكَ حيلةً تُنجيكَ؟ يا لبرائتِكْ !! أنا مذ عَرفتُكَ ما أجدتُ سوى الهوى وقراءتِكْ ما حاجتي لتقولَ؟ لي لغةٌ وصلتُ بسرِّها لقرارتِكْ! بيني وبينكَ سرمدٌ لا ينتهي لم يبتدِىءْ سرٌ يُلخِّصُ لي غموضَ حكايتِكْ في برزخِ الأرواحِ إذ كُنَّا معاً في النورِ نسبحُ قبلَ جُرمِ جنايتِكْ قبلَ النزولِ عقوبةً للتيهِ قبلَ غوايتِكْ أظننتَ صمتكَ حيلةً يا للفداحةِ يا لثِقْلِ ظِنانتِكْ ! ما زال وجهُكَ كالكتابِ يقولُ لي كُلَّ الذي تُخفيه قبلَ إبانتِكْ فاصمتْ فصمتُكَ مفصحٌ كإشارتِكْ!

ويُعجبُني فيكِ أنَّكِ سيِّدةُ الدهشةِ المُطلَقَةْ! وأنَّكِ قادرةُ القلبِ إذ كُلَّما أوثَقَتْ خطوَكِ الحادثاتُ تألّقتِ أبعدَ ممَّا يرونَ عدوتِ عدوتِ بأقدامِكِ المُوثَقَةْ! وأنَّكِ نقَّيتِ قاموسَ عزمَكِ من كُلِّ (لن أستطيعَ) و(كيفَ سيُمكنُني) وانبريتِ تحيكينَ بالصبرِ ثوبَ الثِقةْ! وأنَّكِ رغمَ الجروحِ ورغمَ القُروحِ التي وَشَمَتْ كُلَّ شبرٍ بروحِكِ ما زلتِ تبتكرينَ المزيدَ من السُبلِ العذبةِ المونِقةْ! وها أنتِ رغم افتقارِكِ تقتسمينَ مع العابرينَ الحكاياتِ والشعرَ والأملَ المُرتَجي وتغُذَّين سيرَكِ صوبَ صباحاتِكِ المُشرقةْ! ويُعجبُني فيكِ هذا البهاءُ وهذا الصفاءُ وهذا النقاءُ وأعجبُ كيف تُرى فاضَ من هذه الروحِ وهي اليتيمةُ والمستهامةُ والمُرهَقةْ!

تعافيتُ ما عادَ يُؤلمُني جُرحُ مَنْ خذلوني كثيرا وما عادَ يُوجعُني كيدُ من كنتُ أمّنتُهُم كُلَّ قلبي فردّوه لي حاسراً وكسيرا! وما عادَ يُدهشُني ما أرى من تبدُّلِ أقنعةٍ كنتُ أحسبُها أوجُهاً فرطَ ما لبسوها دهورا! تعافيتُ ما عُدتُ أبكي لقد علَّمتني التباريحُ كيف يكونُ البكاءُ غناءً وكيف تصيرُ الدموعُ طيورا تعافيتُ من رغبتي في رضاءِ الجميعِ ومن خوفِ روحي على كلِّ شيءٍ حساسيتي واهتمامي ولومي لنفسي أظنُّ بأنِّي كبُرتُ أخيرا!

ألومُ نفسيَ أحياناً أقولُ لها لعلَّني أنا مَنْ أفرطتُ في الأملِ! لعلَّني أنا من أسرفتُ راجيةً من الهوى بَرءَ ما قاسيتُ من عِللِ حمَّلتُه ثِقْلَ خيباتي وأسئلتي فلم يُطِقْ فرطَ ما حمَّلتُ من ثِقَلِ! ألومُ نفسي أنا البنتُ التي حسِبتْ أن الهوى سوف يشفي يائسَ العِللِ أجَّلتُ كُلَّ ابتهاجاتِ الحياةِ له أمشي على الجُرحِ أميالاً ولم أصِلِ! جعلتُ سقفَ رجاءاتي السما حُلُماً مدَّ اشتهاءاتِ قلبٍ خائفٍ وجِلِ فلم أطُلْها لأنَّ الحبَّ ليس سوى وهمٍ جميلٍ ولكنْ غير مكتملِ! لعلَّني خِلتُ كوناً لا وجودَ له حين اختصرتُ جميعَ الناسِ في رجلِ!

وهذا الذي قد تبقَّى معي! حنيني وما يُشبهُ الشوقَ توقي مراقبتي هاتفي في انتظارِكَ والقلبُ أوهنُ من أنْ يعِي! وهذا الذي قد تبقَّى معي! مكابرتي وادعائي بأنِّي تجاوزتُ أنِّي تعافيتُ أنِّي شُفيتُ وما زلتُ يا صاحبي أدَّعي! تعلّمتُ كلَّ فنونِ التستُّرِ أتقنتُها لذلك لا يعرفُ الناسُ كيف تحمّلتُ هذي النصالَ وكم ظلَّ منها إلى الآنَ في أضلعي! وهذا الذي قد تبقَّى معي! يقيني وصبري وقلبي الذي كلَّما اختبَرَته الجراحُ تسامى عليها ولم يركعِ لقد أوجعَتنِي التباريحُ حتى كأنَّ الحياةَ هي الركضُ بالجُرحِ من موجِعٍ نشتكِيه إلى موجِعِ!
