Virou uma lenta troca de passes mais como proteção do que ameaça. Evitava correr riscos para não ceder contra-ataques. Um bom exemplo foi a chance de Endrick. Nasceu do raro momento em que Odegaard arriscou um passe vertical. No fim, Haaland fez a diferença. Impressionou a falta de agressividade do Brasil para incomodar a posse adversária, mesmo que a estratégia fosse esperar para contra-atacar. Dentro da proposta, até criou para ter placar melhor, mas parou em Nyland. O frustrante para o Brasil é a sensação de que nem "correu o risco" de tentar dorminar o jogo no campo de ataque.

Que virada da Argentina. Mais uma partidaça de Lionel Messi - e certamente a melhor da seleção na Copa até aqui (já era a melhor mesmo enquanto perdia). Enfim veio a imposição técnica que não sustentou atuações contra Cabo Verde, Egito e Suíça. E o roteiro da Inglaterra não foi tão diferente de jogos anteriores. Passou por México e Noruega sendo inferior em consideráveis períodos dos jogos e terminando com a mesma ideia da linha de 5 de hoje. A diferença é que hoje não segurou até o fim. Aliás, hoje já não era melhor mesmo quando abre o placar. Tem sido uma Copa de roteiros épicos para a Argentina, mas hoje, além de uma vitória gigante num duelo de muita rivalidade, foi a atuação coletiva mais marcante do time na edição.
