Şarkılarım her zaman hayatın pek çok alanından ilham almış ve hayatın kendisini anlatmıştır. Benim yazım tarzımla ortaya çıkmış bir üründe herkes, her dinleyen, kendine ait, kendine dair kişisel anlamlar bulabilir. Sanatın ve edebiyatın çekici ve güzel yanı da budur zaten. Bu şarkı halk edebiyatı geleneğine öykünerek, metaforlar üzerinden bir aşk hikayesini anlatıyor. Dinleyenlerimin son derece aşina olduğu muzip bir anlatım tarzı. Misal, kuş dediğin yuva da kurar göklere de uçar. Artık nereden almak istersen. Sadece bir noktayı son derece net olarak ifade etmem gerekir ki, şarkıda geçen “toy bebe”, “kelek / ham / hayattan derslerini almamış ruh” manası taşımaktadır. (Kuşkusuz biçimde ve de tabii ki!) Benim bu hikayenin neresinde olduğumun yorumunu ise sizlerin temiz kalplerine bırakıyorum. En kadim kültürel değerlerimiz arasında olan “ozanlık” gereği, bunun şahit olanı ve anlatıcısı da olabilirim. Son olarak, kamu düzeni ve genel sağlığımızın alt tarafı bir şarkıdan bozulacak kırılganlıkta olmadığına inanmak istiyorum. Bu algı yaratma çabaları arasında, zihni ve kalbi rencide olan ne kadar sevenim varsa her birine yürekten sarılıyorum.
