A typical post picks up 1.1K interactions against 385K followers, an engagement rate of 0.291%. Measured over 11 original posts, its engagement rate beats 72% of 3,829 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 46K times each, and 2.44% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 11.9% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.7 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 23% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 00:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 11 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video and 9% are part of a thread. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 3.4K interactions, about 3.0x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Western Lensman's engagement rate beats 72% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,829 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 6 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 68% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.291%, Western Lensman sits above the 50th percentile of the 37,071 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.08% to 0.435%.

Posting timing

This account posts most often around 00:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

April 2020. You probably remember when CNN aired Chris Cuomo pretending to emerge from his basement for the first time after getting Covid. “We had a huge day today in Casa Cuomo.” What you may not remember is how deceitful it really was. Cuomo himself had blown up the lie a week before when he revealed on his radio show that he had an altercation with a bicyclist in public. He went through with the stunt anyway. CNN apparently hoped no one would notice that the stunt was already pre-bunked by the star of the stunt. Just incredible levels of willful deception as you watch this in retrospect. The lie was so egregious that even leftwing New York Magazine called it out. To this day, CNN and Cuomo are still pretending to be credible sources of information.

Don Lemon says that he can now "tell the truth" with no corporate overlords to stop him. He then proceeds to go full race-grifter: "I can say whatever the f*ck I want...I feel the spirit of Malcolm X coming over me." "This issue is a white people problem right now....These are white people, co-opted poor and working class white people who put this man in office." "If I had said that, you know, on corporate media, oh my gosh, you're a race baiter. An anchor shouldn't be saying that. Now I say whatever I want and I tell the truth." Congratulations, Don. You're Joy Reid Junior. Note how he had to keep looking down at the notes on his phone to get all of this 'truth' just right.

Maxine Waters claims something called "white media" wants a Dem establishment vs Democrat Socialist fight. "Some of the media, mostly the white media, are interested in a fight in order to get their ratings up." What? This race-grifting clown just managed to concoct one of the most brain-wormed takes imaginable.

James Carville says he had to "look up Hasan Piker" and what he saw makes him "really, really uncomfortable." James finally catching up here. "I find this guy to be really, really troubling." "I think [El-Sayed] would do himself some good if he made very clear the specific things that Hasan Piker said that he disagrees with, because I got to tell you, they make me really, really uncomfortable." Keep El-Sayed tied to Piker every second from here until November.

Hasan Piker says it's a "mistake" for Democrat candidates to denounce him. Weigel: "If somebody needs to denounce you in order to win, do you support that?" Piker: "Of course, I don't care. But I think it's a mistake 100%." Agree. No Democrats should ever denounce him. In fact, they should invite him to as many general-election campaign events as possible. Maybe start in Texas.

This scolding/referee stoppage from Abby Phillip to chastise conservative guests is why I could never do this show. It's only once in a blue moon she'd be caught doing this to a fellow liberal. She justifies this by claiming it's only conservatives who lie, thereby proving her rancorous bias

Elie Mystal rants that SCOTUS shouldn't get another dime for security until they sign an ethics bill. If not, he says: "Learn karate." This leftist lunatic wants justices unprotected from other leftist lunatics: "Amy Coney Barrett and Elena Kagan running in front of Congress asking for more security funding, asking for more cops, asking for more protection." "Hey, how about this, pay for your own security...if they want protection, then sign an ethics bill and we will give you your cops." "If not, I don't know, Amy. Learn karate." Hosted by Indivisible. Because, of course.

What is Western Lensman's engagement rate on X?
Western Lensman (@WesternLensman) has an engagement rate of 0.291%, based on the median interactions across 11 original posts from the last 30 days against 384,922 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.291%, Western Lensman sits above the 50th percentile of the 37,071 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @WesternLensman have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 72% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,829 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @WesternLensman post?
Most posts go out around 00:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.73 posts per day across the measured window.
