EAA engagement report
@EAA - 97K followers on X
Measured over 58 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 24, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 83 interactions against 97K followers, an engagement rate of 0.086%. Measured over 58 original posts, its engagement rate beats 48% of 3,775 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 3.3K times each, and 2.48% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 3.46% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on almost every day in the window. Most posts go out around 20:00 UTC, and Thursday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 58 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video and 55% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 1.3K interactions, about 16x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #osh26, #aviation, #avgeek.

Compared with accounts its own size
EAA's engagement rate beats 48% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,775 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 5 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 72% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.086%, EAA sits above the 50th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.08% to 0.433%.

Posting timing
This account posts most often around 20:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

It was impossible not to be impressed by the Lockheed Constellation brought to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025 by the Lewis Air Legends museum in San Antonio, Texas. It had been on the field at AirVenture 2023; however, at that time it was basically a huge, fantastically detailed, empty flying tube because the interior had yet to be installed. In 2025, it was showing off its new interior, which definitely continued the massive amount of detailing begun by its exterior. It carried on the airplane’s theme of elegance and unreal attention to detail. #aviation #warbird #OSH25 #Oshkosh #AirVenture #Lockheed #Constellation

If you want a good representation of just how massive 🤯 the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh grounds are – here you go! This was taken from 10,000 feet on the Thursday of #OSH26. 🌤️ We usually try to get a shot like this every year if the weather and a high ceiling are on our side! 😉 📸 Ed Hicks #Oshkosh #aerialphotography #aviation #AirVenture

Just one day after an incredible week at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026, devastating tornadoes impacted nearby communities, leaving many homes and businesses damaged or destroyed. EAA donated all excess food, water, personal hygiene items, and other essential supplies from the Red One Markets, Volunteer Kitchen, Chapters, and A&W, to support local relief efforts. Working with the Oshkosh Food Pantry and Winnebago Emergency Government, more than 18,000 pounds of much-needed supplies were delivered to help those affected. Together, we continue to support our neighbors when they need it most. ❤️

Today we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the B-36 Peacemaker’s first flight. This aircraft design can be traced back to 1941, when the U.S. military recognized the potential need for a long-range bomber capable of reaching Japan from Hawaii. Next time you visit our museum, be sure to find a B-36 propeller blade on display in the Eagle Hangar. It offers a glimpse into the incredible scale of this historic bomber. #Aviation #MilitaryHistory #Avgeeks #FirstFlight

📰 USAF Maj. Sam ‘RaZZ’ Larson Returned to AirVenture, This Time as a Thunderbird Pilot! While standing next to his F-16, RaZZ took the time to talk to a steady stream of attendees, sign his autograph, and take pictures. Asked what advice he can offer to young people, he said, “You have to take a risk at some point in your life and step outside of your comfort zone... because on the other side of all that discomfort and adversity, usually that’s where your dreams lie.” Read the full story: https://t.co/8YBd1EAEUG 📸 Raul Cisneros, Bailey Noel, and Jaime Cordova #OSH26 #aviation #Oshkosh #planespotting #USAF #Thunderbird8

- What is EAA's engagement rate on X?
- EAA (@EAA) has an engagement rate of 0.086%, based on the median interactions across 58 original posts from the last 30 days against 96,594 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.086%, EAA sits above the 50th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @EAA have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 48% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,775 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @EAA post?
- Most posts go out around 20:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day, at roughly 2 posts per day across the measured window.
