Hello and welcome to The Wide World of Physics. My goal is to take a subject which most people dread, and make it approachable, entertaining, and considerably less scary. I am a Secondary school physics teacher with a degree in Geophysics from Virginia Tech, and became a teacher after working for 17 years as a geophysicist in Texas, Alaska, and the UK. I hope you enjoy these videos that have a strong emphasis on how things work, and how you can do this at home with what you have around the house.
