About

Are you a Creative? Then: YOU ARE A BUSINESS! My name is Allan McKay. As a creative, my ultimate goal is to eliminate the "starving artist" mentality that so many of us have. To not use the "struggle" as an excuse, and instead embrace that we are running a business. We are in this for the win! We have to give it everything we've got to make it in this world -- and in our careers. I've been working in Hollywood in Visual Effects for over 20 years and I've had many successes. But my biggest success is watching the growth the students in my mentorship and in my courses have; the people that email me saying they've landed their dream job or negotiated the pay they deserve. Or, they've negotiated to work from home, launched a business -- all of the amazing things they do. All the amazing things YOU DO! I'm eager to build a YouTube Channel to share the content previously only available to those in my students and inner circle. I always say: You gotta be in it to win it! LET'S LEVEL UP!
